Biographie
Der kanadisch-australische Sänger und Songwriter Robert Ross wurde am Miramichi in New Brunswick, Kanada, geboren und wuchs dort auf. Die Kleinstadt New Brunswick war eine Brutstätte für Folksongs, die aus dem Herzen und dem Leben heraus geschrieben wurden. Schon in jungen Jahren entdeckte er seine Liebe zur Country-Musik, als er seine Mutter (Betty) im Haus singen hörte, und an den Wochenenden war bei jedem Tanzabend oder bei gesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen Country-Musik zu hören. Diese Lieder bildeten die Grundlage seiner heutigen Musik.
Robert diente 11,5 Jahre lang in der kanadischen Armee und reiste von Küste zu Küste durch Kanada. In dieser Zeit war er dreieinhalb Jahre lang im Ausland im Einsatz. 2009 zog er nach Australien und wurde 2014 australischer Staatsbürger.

What an Incredible past few months. Not only have I released a new single "People like me" but I been in studio at the famous Blackbird studio with the amazingly talented Ben Klick who is producing my latest project. Very excited to say that I've recorded 2 duets with Jericho ( all I can say is WOW!) Also there is an amazing new Christmas song coming also.
Well the new Single is out there and doing great. It's called Better with time. Something we all strive for.
Well it's been an incredible run. I had the pleasure of working with Grammy award winning artist/producer Gil Grand and let me tell you what a great album we have created. 2 new singles will be dropping in July 24 ("Drink Em' Down" and also "Mammas Song"
Looking very forward to going to Nashville a bit later this year(2023) to record my next album. Stay tuned it's gonna be an amazing ride.
The new album is well under way and nearing completion. Looking very forward to sharing it with you all real soon.
The big move has happened. I am truly over the moon to be living In Nashville and working on my next (long overdue) album. Looking forward to releasing my first Single from the new album in May 2024.
