Robert Ross is a singer-songwriter whose roots run deep in the traditions of country music. Growing up in the small town of Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, Robert was surrounded by the melodies of folk songs and country tunes.

Biography

Canadian/Australian Singer/songwriter Robert Ross was born and raised on the Miramichi in New Brunswick, Canada. Small town New Brunswick was a breeding ground for folk songs written from the heart and from life. From an early age he found his love for country music in hearing his mother (Betty) singing around the house and on the weekends you were sure to hear country music at any of the local dances or socials. These songs became the basis of his music today.

Robert served in the Canadian Army for 11 and a half years traveling coast to coast in Canada and in that time served overseas for 3 and a half years. He moved to Australia in 2009 and became an Australian Citizen in 2014.

Single highlights for 2021

Looking very forward to going to Nashville a bit later this year(2023) to record my next album. Stay tuned it's gonna be an amazing ride.

The new album is well under way and nearing completion. Looking very forward to sharing it with you all real soon.

The big move has happened. I am truly over the moon to be living In Nashville and working on my next (long overdue) album. Looking forward to releasing my first Single from the new album in May 2024.
